What Is Line Balancing Rate (LBR)?

Line Balancing Rate (LBR) is an important concept in garment manufacturing that relates to the efficiency and productivity of a production line.

1. Lowest Capacity of the Line: The lowest capacity of the line refers to the minimum output of the slowest workstation or process in a production line, 
2. Garments SMV (Standard Minute Value): Garments SMV is the standard time, measured in minutes, required for a skilled worker to complete a specific garment-making operation or to produce an entire garment under normal working conditions.
3. Manpower: Manpower refers to the total number of workers or human resources available or required to perform the necessary operations in a garment production facility or line.
